Description:
This painting is not just an image or a dream for me—it feels like the collective subconscious of all of us in these years.
These people are gathered together, yet each is lost in their own loneliness, as if they are simply “enduring” the situation side by side. The figure wearing the cone hat is the saddest—forced to play the clown in the middle of a tragedy so others can bear it.
The space feels like a mix of a classroom, a hospital, and an interrogation room. The target on the wall creates a constant sense of being watched or exposed.
My favorite part is the child, whose hand is trapped in a magical triangular box, with a pacifier silencing them. It represents our trapped dreams. But that hand reaching in from outside—that, for me, is kindness. It shows that even when we are silenced and restrained, compassion is the one thing that can pass through walls and still connect us.
