Soheyl Bastami

Soheyl Bastami is an interdisciplinary sculptor whose practice explores themes of knowledge, self-discovery, and the nature of existence. With a background in graphic design and a self-taught approach to sculpture, he works primarily with wood and metal, embracing an intuitive and process-driven methodology. His work has been presented extensively through international solo and group exhibitions, sculpture symposiums, and public installations, and has received numerous international awards and recognitions. In recent years, Bastami has expanded his practice toward sculptural furniture and functional objects, continuing to blur the boundaries between art, design, and lived space.
